Moving images to capture the stillness of the world.

Humans being humans

There’s beauty in the mundane and this video is an attempt on showing that in Toulouse.

Robert

I decided to film part of my interaction with a -no longer- stranger instead of just taking pictures. Meet Robert. He always buys vintage items. He was on his way to the Washington Square Park when he stopped to enjoy the warmth of the weather and the stillness of the street.

Zoran, the coin maker

I was roaming around the streets of Rome when I stumbled across Zoran. An artist carving coins into art pieces. He was perfecting and selling his craft right there for the bystanders.

Emotion noire.

Alicia providing an intense display of emotion.

Old man sitting on the pier.

As I was exploring Marseille, I came across this man sitting by himself looking at the port. He was the only person who was still, enjoying the slow pace of the water. While everyone was moving, talking, looking at everything but where the peace was.

Pride.

The happiness of being able to be who you are without shame.

A day at the park.

I love the fact that sometimes beauty is the details. We are often stuck in looking at everything at the same time while the smallest thing can bring you the most… A leaf falling from a tree, the sun passing through a window, the wind blowing on a flower…
